Fireworks Tutorial: Draw a ladybug from stock photo

Start.
This is my second video tutorial and this time we are going to recreate a ladybug from a stock photo. This tutorial will again emphasize on the use of the pen tool, as well as the importance of determining highlights, shadows and midtones. This is pretty much a part two of my first video tutorial. Again, you might wanna visit these previous tutorials: Fireworks Basics and Fireworks: Color, Gradients, Transparencies for a referesher. Here’s the original picture by the way.
And this is the final picture made using Fireworks. Since it’s vector graphics, you can resize the image without pixelating.

Like what I’ve promised, here’s a tutorial on highlights, midtones, gradients and overlay. It’s my first video tutorial! This tutorial uses the pen tool - you might want to read these two previous tutorials on Fireworks, before you proceed if you’re not comfortable using the pen tool.
